Tom graduated from the University of Hull with a BSc Honours degree in Sport Health and Exercise Science in 2016. He is currently completing a PhD (University of Hull / Hull York Medical School) in clinical exercise physiology with a particular focus on myocardial ischaemia and exercise induced coronary collateral arteriogenesis. Tom has extensive experience undertaking and interpreting Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test (CPET) in both healthy and clinical (Cardiac) populations. Tom is the current Physiology and Biomechanics laboratory technician at the University of Hull. Alongside his role as technician Tom has previously taught on the MSc in Clinical Exercise Physiology and is currently joint module lead for level 5 Strength and Conditioning. Tom has previously worked with the city of Hull rugby league academy and is a level 1 certified Crossfit coach with experience training a broad range of athletes.
