Ben is a Graduate Sports Therapist and current member of BASRaT. Ben has a PhD that explored ‘The role of infrared thermal imaging in the assessment of chronic midportion Achilles tendinopathy’. Ben is a lecturer in Sport Rehabilitation at the University of Hull and a member of the RFU teaching team for the Pre-Hospital Immediate Care in Sport course. Ben works both clinically and pitch side in rugby union in National League 2 north and for Lancashire U20’s men’s county team. Ben has also previously worked in professional football clubs in both clinical and research capacities. Ben also owns a private sports injury clinic which has been established for a number of years. Clinically, Ben will support students gaining placement experience at the university clinic.
