Brenda is a Graduate Sport Rehabilitator (BSc Hons) from the University of Hull and a registered member of BASRaT. Her primary sporting experience is in Rugby Union, including previous work as Head of Medical at a local college. She also has experience across Football, Rugby League, and Gaelic Games. Brenda’s clinical background includes roles in private practice and within the HIP Hub, where she first served as Clinic Supervisor before progressing to Clinic Manager. In her current role, she leads student supervision for Sport Rehabilitation students completing their placement experience. Alongside her clinical responsibilities, Brenda is in the final stages of an MSc by Research in partnership with World Rugby. Her research investigates whether semi‑rigid neck collars reduce the range of neck movement during a 15‑degree athlete tilt. Brenda also continues her involvement in sport as the Head of Medical at Bridlington RUFC.
